Containers for Change at events

Make every container count at your next event

From music festivals to sold-out stadiums, Containers for Change and large events are a natural fit. Thousands of containers get used, organisers can direct the refunds to a cause and containers get recycled rather than going to landfill.

By placing the right collection points in the right places, event organisers can reduce waste, improve recycling outcomes and generate 10-cent refunds that can support charities, community groups or event sustainability goals.

How it works

A local Containers for Change operator can work with event organisers to plan collection points, service bins during the event and ensure eligible containers are returned through the scheme.

Refunds can be directed back to the organiser, donated to a nominated cause or used to help support the event’s environmental and community objectives.
