The statutory declaration allows you to:
Completing the statutory declaration is a requirement under your Container Recovery Agreement.
The statutory declaration is available in the CDS Business Portal after the end of the financial year.
Statutory declarations must be submitted within 40 business days of the end of the financial year. This deadline applies to all beverage manufacturers, regardless of sales volume.
Review the sales volumes your organisation reported for the previous financial year.
Check that the reported volumes accurately reflect the eligible beverage products your organisation supplied into Queensland during that period. The statutory declaration provides an opportunity to confirm those volumes or submit revised figures.
You may need information from your organisation’s sales records to complete this review.
The statutory declaration must be signed by a duly authorised account representative and requires a special witness.
Review the sales volumes your organisation reported for the previous financial year
Confirm through the annual declaration that the sales volumes reported for the previous 12 months are true and correct.
Use the annual declaration to provide revised sales volumes if your review identifies an error or discrepancy in the figures reported for the previous 12 months.
Corrections to sales volumes may affect scheme contributions and invoices.
COEX will email you once your statutory declaration has been verified and validated.
If COEX identifies any issues with your statutory declaration, COEX will contact you.
